After visiting Belém and participating in debates on resilient cities and forest restoration, the Manesco partner travelled to South Africa for a meeting of the Observer Research Foundation America (ORF America).

The event, which aims to foster dialogue between Brazil, India, South Africa, and Indonesia on the transition to a green economy, was, according to Tatiana, an opportunity to delve deeper into key topics discussed in Pará, such as climate finance, supply chains, and sustainable development.

"We moved from the diagnostic phase to everyday solutions and concluded that there is room for joint projects and scaling up good practices between countries. We need to create structures for dialogue and 'translation' of how each nation works. To do so, we need to resize the perception of risks, reduce the cost of capital, and encourage cooperation between peers who will grow significantly in the coming decades," explains the lawyer.

In the South African capital, Tatiana joined the panel ‘Modelling Pathways: Unlocking solutions to strengthen IBSA+Indonesia's leadership in the transition to clean energy.’
