For 9 years, he has been ranked by Chambers and Partners in the Public Law area, where he occupies band 4 in Brazil. In addition, he serves as Practice Head of Public Law in the Legal 500 ranking. In 2017, he received the award for one of the Most Admired in Law in the Infrastructure and Regulatory Specialty categories and in the State of São Paulo, an award from Análise Advocacia 500. In 1998, he was awarded the Professor Lafayette Pondé Award for his monograph "Regulatory Agencies in Brazilian Law", granted by the Brazilian Institute of Administrative Law.
